SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025: A Look Back!

Five days full of energy: KÖCO at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025

When over 37,000 professional visitors from 100 nations come together, the exhibition halls buzz with activity, and intensive expert discussions take place at every booth – that's SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN. For us at KÖCO, the five days of the trade fair from September 15 to 19 in Essen were an intensive period filled with exciting encounters, technical discussions, and successful conversations. Now that the hustle and bustle is over, we look back on a trade fair that once again showed us: personal exchange and genuine partnership are irreplaceable.

Our highlights at the booth

Our trade fair booth was more than just a product presentation – it was a place of encounter, exchange, and shared learning. The focus was on our stud welding technology solutions, which we were able to demonstrate and explain live.

Our ELOTOP + Series – the new generation of our stud welding machines – attracted particularly strong interest. The four models Grizzly, Tiger, Fox, and Racoon combine proven robustness with even more power and precision. Visitors were able to see the advantages for themselves directly at our booth:

- High duty cycle for continuous operation

- Constant current control for precise results

- Microprocessor control for intelligent process management

- Our innovative analysis tool for targeted filtering of process control data

Many expert discussions revolved around practical applications: How can process control be optimized? Which machine is suitable for which application area? How can welding data be efficiently archived?

The topics moving our industry

In the exhibition halls and in our conversations at the booth, it became clear where our industry is heading:

Digitalization and automation

Collaborative robots, AI-supported processes, and networked production solutions were the dominant topics. Many visitors were interested in how welding processes can be digitalized and automated – this is exactly where our ELOTOP + Series scores with its extensive interfaces and analysis capabilities.

Process control and quality assurance

The documentation and monitoring of welding processes is becoming increasingly important. Our innovative analysis tool, which specifically filters and displays process control data in a structured manner, hit the nerve of the times. The ability to save welding parameters and process data in CSV format significantly simplifies quality management.

Sustainability and workplace safety

Solutions for CO2 reduction and innovative approaches to workplace safety, such as smart extraction systems, demonstrated the industry's innovative strength. We at KÖCO also think sustainability – from efficient welding processes to the longevity of our products.

Promoting young talent

A topic that is particularly close to our hearts: The DVS youth competitions and the International Welding Competition with participants from twelve countries sent strong signals for the future of our industry. A special highlight: For the first time, an all-female team from India participated – an encouraging signal for more diversity in welding technology!

What we take away

For us at KÖCO, these were five days full of intensive discussions, valuable contacts, and inspiring encounters.

We have:

- Deepened existing customer relationships and initiated new partnerships

- Received valuable feedback on our products and services

- Gained insights into our customers' current challenges

- Exchanged ideas with industry colleagues about future topics

- Felt that our service-oriented approach is exactly right

The trade fair has shown: Our industry is innovative, future-oriented, and ready for tomorrow's challenges. The topics of digitalization, automation, and sustainability will continue to accompany us – and we at KÖCO are ready to support our customers on this journey as a reliable partner.

See you in 2029!

The 21st SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN will take place from September 17 to 21, 2029, at Messe Essen. Until then, we will use the insights and impulses from this trade fair to further develop our products and services.

But of course, you don't have to wait four years to meet us! We are available for your questions at any time. Because as we always say: We are committed to service – and we're always here for you.

Thank you to everyone who visited us at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025. The conversations with you were the highlight of this trade fair!
